Frank aka Blazing Funk was born 1970 in Peine (Germany). He made his first musical steps in the mid-80s when he was 14. At this time his music was influenced by music groups like Depeche Mode, Erasure etc., who were pioneers of electronic dance music. In the 90s he made a long break making music until he started again 1999. Meanwhile he prefered producing more trance like music. Then in 2005 he had his first vinyl release “Da Sylver & DeeFour - the last unicorn”, which was a remake of the well-known movie with the same title. For several months, his track was up in all DJ charts, in Germany, Swiss and Austria. The next vinyl release followed in October 2006, with the title “Align Left feat. MQUE - Love is all around”. In 2007 he founded his own music label "Ill Fish Recordings". And had his first Blazing Funk digital release with the title “Blazing Funk - Hate & Jealousy” at the label Direct Drive Digital based in Chicago USA. Meanwhile he made a lot of remixes for other artists, like Robert Vadney, SILT, Enrico Giorno, Klischee, EBJ / Emax, Fawni, Red 5, ZOE, Secret Wish, Iris L'Or, X-Cess, R.Gee & TeCay and many more. In summer 2010 he released his new Electro House Bomb “Blazing Funk - Crazy”. This climbed up in the most DJ charts in Germany, Swiss, Italy and the UK, up to the Top20. ![]() At the end of 2010 Blazing Funk produced a new song "The Club Is My Playground" together with the young and attractive model and singer Janine. Janine is already singing for years and had her first successes with some self-made video clips on YouTube (mostly covers of Britney Spears), where she got Blazing Funk's first attention. So they decided to team up and created the lyrics and sounds together in the studio of Blazing Funk. At the end of January 2011 they filmed the video clip for "The Club Is My Playground" in the Discothek Klejbors in Eschweiler / Germany. The video production and postproduction was made by Studio BMM from Mönchengladbach / Germany. ![]() Frank and singer Iris L'Or traveled to Bulagria in march 2011 to represent the charity "B2Bulgaria" in the biggest club of Sofia / Bulgaria. Iris was singing the song "Children of Bulgaria", which was composed by Frank.
